Who This Is For

Wherever you are in the journey, we can meet you there.

Some clients arrive with a finished manuscript. Others have not written a single word yet, only an idea they cannot let go of. Both are welcome.

The coach or consultant

You have been meaning to write the book that turns your expertise into credibility. You just have not had the time. Ridge or Summit is probably your fit.

The expert with something to say

Decades of hard-won knowledge sitting in your head, with no clear route to putting it on paper. Summit gives you the whole book made with you.

The memoirist

A story that only you can tell, ready to be shaped into a book that will outlast you. Ridge if the arc is already clear. Summit if you want us to help you shape it.

The ministry or community leader

You have built something meaningful and want a book that carries the story further. Whatever form the book needs to take, we can make it with your voice preserved throughout. For clergy and faith authors, we have a dedicated page, including a no-upfront-cost route.

How It Works

Every book we make follows the same six steps.

Some clients need all six. Others need only two or three. Either way, this is what the journey looks like.

01

Research

Before we write a single word, we look at where your book will actually sell. Amazon keyword and category research, reader intent, comparable titles. Nothing gets built until we know what we are building for.

02

Writing

For Ridge and Summit, this is where the manuscript takes shape through interviews or a brief, followed by revisions as you feed back. For clients arriving with a finished draft, this step becomes a full editorial pass.

03

Design

Your book's cover is what a reader sees first. We design it to work at thumbnail size on Amazon and full size in a reader's hands. Concept, mockups, revisions, and the final print wrap with matching ebook cover.

04

Format

Interior formatting for Kindle and paperback. Type choices, margins, headers, page numbers, and every small decision a professionally published book needs.

05

Publish

ISBN registration, metadata optimisation, KDP setup, and, if you have chosen to publish under our Diviset Solutions imprint, a listing in the Diviset catalogue with direct sales through our own online storefront.

06

Launch

A launch plan for the first week: category positioning, review outreach, price strategy, and the small marketing pushes that make a difference. On the Summit package, we also give thirty days of post-launch support.

Our Packages

Two commercial paths, three packages.

You can also buy services on their own if you only need one thing done, such as a cover or a proofread. Below is what each costs. No hidden fees, no "call for a quote."

Full Service

Choose one of the packages below and pay for production directly. You own the book and keep 100% of what it earns.

Partnership

If the upfront cost is out of reach but your book is genuinely worth making, we can work with you on a revenue-share basis instead. Terms explained on the Partnership page.

The Highland Promise

Every author gets these five promises.

We listen before we advise.

Every book begins with understanding the person who wants to write it. Not the market. Not the format. You.

We explain before we recommend.

Publishing should never feel confusing. Our job is to educate you as much as it is to deliver the work.

We protect your voice.

Editors improve writing. They should never replace the author's personality. That includes ours.

We pursue excellence.

Every manuscript receives our full professional attention. Not because perfection is possible, but because care is essential.

We stay with you.

Publishing your book is not goodbye. Whether you come back for a second book or just to tell us how launch went, we are here.

Praise for Our Books

The books speak for themselves.

About

A British book studio for people with a real book in them.

We work with authors on the practical business of getting a book made: from the first idea to the printed copy, and everything in between. Ghostwriting, editing, design, formatting, publishing, and launch. Nothing outsourced. Nothing scattered across a dozen freelancers you would have to manage yourself.

Our ghostwriting has helped clergy, coaches, business owners, and community leaders bring their books into print. Our Diviset Solutions imprint publishes memoir and evidence-based nonfiction, with more genres joining as the catalogue grows.

The service is built around one principle: good books, honestly priced.

Highland Creators is based at the foot of Ben Nevis in the Scottish Highlands and led by Emmanuel Egbon. Its sister imprint, Diviset Solutions, publishes books that Highland Creators produces, along with books that come to Diviset finished from other sources.

Our Sister Imprint

How Diviset Solutions Works

Diviset Solutions publishes finished books. Highland Creators produces them. Two brands, one honest ecosystem.

Authors arriving with a finished manuscript can publish through Diviset without needing Highland Creators to produce the book first. The commercial structure mirrors what Highland Creators offers.

Publishing (Full Service)

£450 one-time fee

You keep 100% of what your book earns. Diviset takes care of publishing but earns nothing on sales. Best for authors who want clean ownership from day one.

Publishing (Partnership)

No upfront fee

Diviset absorbs the £450 setup. Revenue splits 80/20 in the imprint's favour until recouped (~38 copies at £20), then flips to 20/80 in yours.

What it means when Diviset publishes your book

The imprint on record

Diviset Solutions appears on the copyright page as publisher. Every book has an ISBN registered to the imprint.

Direct sales as priority

Every Diviset book is listed for sale on our own direct storefront, in both ebook and print.

Amazon by choice

Amazon Kindle and paperback available if you want them. Some do, some prefer to stay off the platform.

Wider distribution when it fits

Draft2Digital for Apple Books, Kobo, and beyond. Ingram Spark for worldwide print distribution.

The book stays in print

Print-on-demand means the paperback never runs out of stock.

Ongoing catalogue presence

Newsletter mentions, cross-catalogue promotion, and periodic marketing pushes when we run seasonal campaigns.

Frequently Asked Questions

Thirty answers to the questions we hear most.

Getting Started
How do I get started?
Book a discovery call. About thirty minutes by video or phone, whichever suits you, with no pressure. Prefer not to talk at all? Email us and we will take it from there in writing. Either way, we ask about your book and your situation, and tell you honestly which path fits best.
Do you work with clients outside the UK?
Yes. Most work happens over video calls and shared documents. We have clients across the UK, Ireland, the US, and beyond. Amazon KDP and our direct sales work internationally.
Do you have a minimum book length?
No formal minimum, but very short books (under 15,000 words) may not fit the packages cleanly. We will talk about it on the discovery call.
What if I only have an idea?
Ridge or Summit is where you start. We take your idea, interview you or work from a brief, and shape a manuscript from there.
What if I already have a manuscript?
Foothill is designed for you. If your manuscript needs editorial work before it is ready to publish, Ridge is the better fit.
What if I am not sure which package I need?
That is what the discovery call is for. We will ask questions and recommend the fit honestly, including telling you if none of our packages is right for your project.
Packages & Pricing
What is the difference between Foothill, Ridge, and Summit?
Foothill (£450) publishes a manuscript you have already written. Ridge (£2,750) either ghostwrites a short-form book from your idea or fully edits your existing draft. Summit (£6,950) writes a full-length book with you and walks you through the launch, including thirty days of post-launch support.
Are there any hidden fees?
No. What we quote is what you pay. If your project needs something outside the package, we tell you upfront and quote it separately.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes for Ridge and Summit. Payments can be spread across the project in agreed instalments. Details discussed on the discovery call.
What if the upfront cost is out of reach?
That is what the Partnership track is for. Highland Creators produces the book at no upfront charge, and revenue is shared until production cost is recouped. Full terms on the Partnership page.
Writing & Manuscripts
If I choose ghostwriting, how does it work?
We start with structured interviews and any written notes or drafts you already have. From that we build an outline, then the chapters. You review at every stage. Your voice, our craft.
Who owns the manuscript?
You do. From the first draft onwards, the manuscript is your intellectual property. We never claim ownership of the words in your book.
How many revisions do I get?
Foothill includes one cover revision. Ridge includes two rounds of author revisions on the manuscript. Summit includes additional rounds because a full-length book needs the room. Extra revisions beyond your package are available as add-ons.
What if I do not like the ghostwriting style?
We adjust. Every ghostwriting project starts with sample chapters so you can see the voice we have built for your book. If it is not right, we revise before writing the full manuscript.
Can you work from voice notes?
Yes. Many authors think better out loud than on the page. Send us voice notes, recorded interviews, or scribbled notes, and we shape them into a manuscript in your voice.
Do you sign NDAs?
Yes, gladly. If your book is sensitive, or you would simply prefer confidentiality, we sign a non-disclosure agreement before any work begins.
Design & Cover
Do I have creative control over the cover?
Yes. Every cover starts with a briefing conversation about tone, market, and your preferences. You review concepts before we finalise. Your name goes on it, so it has to feel right to you.
Can I supply my own cover?
Yes, if it meets professional publishing standards for both ebook and print. We will review it and let you know what may need adjusting for print or ebook requirements.
What if I do not like the first cover concept?
Ridge and Summit include cover revision rounds specifically for this. We revise until we get it right.
Publishing & Ownership
Who owns the book once it is published?
You do. Copyright stays with the author. Highland Creators claims no ownership of your work.
What rights do I keep?
All of them. Print rights, ebook rights, audio rights, film rights, translation rights. You control every future use of your book.
Do you take royalties?
Not on Track One (Full Service). You keep 100% of what your book earns. On Track Two (Partnership), there is a defined revenue share that flips in your favour once production cost is recouped.
What is Diviset Solutions, and do I have to use it?
Diviset Solutions is our sister imprint. When Highland Creators produces your book, you can choose to publish through Diviset (gaining an imprint credibility signal), under your own KDP account, or through another publisher entirely. Diviset is an option, not a requirement.
Can I use my own KDP account?
Yes. If you would rather publish under your own imprint on Amazon than through Diviset Solutions, we help you set that up.
What if I want to move my book to another publisher later?
You can. You own the manuscript and the cover files. If Diviset was the publisher of record, we transfer the ISBN and distribution arrangements to whichever route you choose next.
Timeline & Working Together
How long does each package take?
Foothill: 3 to 4 weeks. Ridge: 8 to 10 weeks. Summit: 4 to 6 months. Timelines assume you respond to drafts within a reasonable window.
What if I miss a deadline for feedback?
The timeline pauses. We pick up when you are ready. Nothing is lost.
How often will we communicate?
Weekly touchpoints during active project phases, plus ad-hoc emails and calls as needed. You never have to chase us.
What if I need to pause the project?
No problem. Life happens. Tell us and we hold your project open. Work resumes when you are ready.
After Publication
What happens after my book goes live?
On Summit, thirty days of post-launch support are included: monitoring early reviews, adjusting metadata as needed, reporting back at day thirty, and helping you spot the sales patterns worth acting on. Ridge includes launch-day support. Foothill is upload-and-live.
Do you help with marketing beyond launch?
Ongoing marketing is not included in the packages, but it is available as an add-on or a monthly retainer. Diviset Solutions also carries every book it publishes in its ongoing catalogue rotation.
Can you help me with a second book?
Yes. Returning authors get a discount on their next project. Most of our best relationships are with returning authors, on their second book and beyond.

Your book could reach readers this year.

A discovery call takes about thirty minutes, by video or phone, whichever you prefer. We ask about your book, your audience, where you are on the journey, and what timeline you are working with. We tell you honestly what would fit your project and what the next step looks like. And if you would rather not talk at all, just email us and we will take it from there in writing. No pressure. No sales pitch.
